Shea McClellin, Boise State alumni has been in town training as he purses his life time dream of playing in the NFL and fortunate for us he took some time out of his day to pay us a visit at the IMKING head quarters. Most of you should already know that we are huge supporters of the Bronco Nation and wanted to wish Shea along with the rest of his senior class good luck as they prep for their all-star games and ultimately the NFL combine! Anxious to see them all ball out at the top level with the top competitors, going to be exciting.

 

Most people have heard of Dom Kennedy and Currensy , but have you heard of Zeke? If you have listened to Dom’s, “From The Westside With Love II” album, then you’ve probably stumbled across his O.P.M. track. The song features a local artist, Zeke , who is passionate about classic R&B and wants to bring back a 90′s feel to the music scene. There’s a lot more to say about the guy, but we’ll give him his own spotlight segment on the blog sometime very soon. Listening to someone on iTunes is one way to do it, or you can pull out the extra cash you have in your pocket to go out and actually support the artist. I heard that Zeke was going to be performing O.P.M. last week over at the Fox Theater in Pomona with Dom and couldn’t turn down the opportunity to see him perform live. When I see an opportunity to go out and support, I’ll make the 30+ mile drive to do so.  So I made the drive out and his performance didn’t seem to disappoint the crowd at all. There’s just something about that song that I can’t seem to get over… We look forward to all of the upcoming music from Zeke and hope that you guys will enjoy it with us!

Performing O.P.M.

Here we continue our recap of Zumiez 100k event. The main event was filled with a huge dinner gathering to introduce the award winners along with founders from all the brands. It was then followed by a surprise visit from Lil Wayne and a three hour DJ set by Skrillex. I was able to chat with many of the Zumiez stars and other brand representatives. A great evening surrounded by amazing people. It was a room full of excellence.
