I left California right after one of the worst storms I’ve experienced back home only to come to more storms in New York. Chris and I got to business and made sure we got some work done because that’s what we came here to do. We stopped by with some of our accounts to check on the line, see the shops we were in, shops that we aren’t in and ways to improve IMKING in the east coast. We had to do all of this while walking in the pouring rain with luggage. Our cab driver decided to drop us off at the wrong spot which made things worst and had us walking forever to get to our destination. Well we’re fighters and still got the job done.

After the meeting we spent the rest of the afternoon walking through the city and really getting to experience New York. We walked from areas in SoHo to do some shopping , around 34th street to do more shopping, and to Canal St. to check out the knock offs and drug dealers do their thing. The crazy thing about NY is how you can walk down one block and your in Chinatown and the next you end up in Little Italy. If you live in the heart of New York, you don’t need a car to survive, whereas in California that is just not happening. Their driving style is very aggressive and you hear car horns go off all the time. The people here also walk REALLY fast. Time is money.
