St. Louie’s “The Middle Class” interview.
The Middle Class is a group out of St Louis, Missiouri. They are the new generation of music working to bring something different to the table. Each of the members are unique in their own way and possess major talent. Instead of falling into the wrong crowd they decided to run the positive route and create a sound not normally heard in the Lou. They actually flew down to hang out with IM KING for a week. The Middle Class kids are defnitely down to earth and are ready to share their sound with the world.

How did you guys meet and how did you get your name?
We all met during our high school years, but we met each other separately which was weird. We eventually went on to realize we were all seeking the same niche. As far as our name that came from just being your everyday middle class people, we’re so regular you know.
Did you guys always have the retro style or was it something you grew with as it became a trend?
It’s not really retro though it’s just us. We’ve always stuck to this fashion even before everyone else caught on, we’ve been in several situations were we’ve been laughed at due to our appearance.
Where does your music originate from who inspires The Middle Class?
Our music just comes from us really, it’s seriously a brainstorming process sometimes we through out random words and make a song. Life in general inspires us, everything from the a walk to the mailbox to us all hanging out inspires us to be great musicians.
What can expect from The Middle Class in 2009?
You can definitely expect more fireworks, random fog, music, living, breathing, dancing, LA trips, IMKING Collabs, photos, shows, music, more fun, more goofy shows, just more Middle Class.
What’s one of the most important values you all hold true to yourselves?
We always stick to our motto “It’s not about the money, it’s about the message
What projects are you guys working on?
We’re working on a project with IMKING that’s going to be huge, and we’ve got a really huge project for all you Tweeters out there!
What is one of your favorite pieces from the IM-KING collection and why?
Lyruk-Everything is mad fresh..I simply love everything!
Milly- The No Homo Skinnies and some of the other future projects we got a chance to check out before you guys ha ha!

In what ways if any does IM-KING coincide with the music you guys are now starting to make?
IMKING is a fresh, young, new, and creative entity. That’s the way we feel about our passion we’re targeting the same market and crowd.
Where do you guys like to go to feed your fashion appetite? What are some of your favorite places to shop?
We take our fashion pretty serious, and with that being said we only shop at Target and Thrift stores. We basically feed off of each other to feed our appetite, and we’ve got a huge appetite so it normally takes all day for us to shop.
What is one thing that your fans don’t know about you guys individually or as a group?
That we just like you, we wake up, take a shower, get dressed, and sleep the same as you. We want everyone to know being famous is a state of mind because at the end of the day we’re all the same so there’s no need to glorify us for our talent.
What kind of feedback are you expecting from the new album “Weird Science”?
Just a bunch of great music, we’re going to bring it on this project! Be expecting that at the end of this summer.
